Sri lankan Architecture Student currently in the UK, percieved by some to have a pseudo-cynical mind and some others to have a functional and logical one. What may add or subtract to the fact that i am very judgemental about curves and hate using them in design. I have finished my RIBA part I and I am currently doing my part I placement in a reputed Architecture firm in London.
My blog is just my thoughts penned down on Architecture,Politics,Religion and just about anything that triggers a bloggable thought in me. My thoughts are open to be disputed and wont necessarily be concordant with those of any reader. My photoblog is just an articulation of the sparks that fly out when my eye clashes with my mind,when with a camera in hand.
My pseudonym Aufidius comes from the favourite stage character i portrayed from Shakespeare's Coriolanus.

What got my attention about Raashid firstly, was his screen name 'Aufidius'. I seem to recall this name from a Shakespeare play and I thought that it was one of the most original screen names I've come across on Flickr! Raashid is erudite, full of promise, very intelligent and has a thirst for knowledge. His photo stream shows the lives of Sri Lankans that I have not come in direct contact with - which is why I find it educational and interesting. Don't let that passion for learning die Raashid...
