I can only speak from my (admittedly limited) personal viewpoint, but Richard has influenced the way I photograph and even the way I see the world more than anyone in recent times. I find his photographs amazing, intriguing, refreshing, inspiring, infuriating and, generally speaking, an enriching ornament to my reality. He seems to view the world from a vantage at times aslant, askew and up-from-under, but always frank, fresh and real. And, just when I get comfortable with his style, he evolves.
