I taught myself to quilt following a book that used a rotary cutter type of cutting and quilting style. My favorite part of quilting is handling the fabric and figuring out puzzles such as what colors/fabrics to place where in the pattern and, most recently, how to fmq.

My daughters and husband know how much I enjoy quilting. I am currently trying to teach my oldest daughter how to sew.

Soon I will return to my teaching career and my long hours of quilting will be over. I will learn to find time amidst family and job commitments.
