I am a retired high school art teacher from Northern Illinois, transplanted to Lake Barkley in Western Kentucky 3 years ago.

I have been in every state in America except Washington, Oregon, and Alaska and many times traveled across country on my own.

I have lucky enough to have traveled to China, Japan, Italy, Switzerland, France, England, Greece, and Costa Rica. I would love to visit Thailand someday.

Marriage and motherhood in my younger days, teaching and mentoring in the years that followed, and freedom and adventure in my retirement, make for me a life that I would choose again.

My taste in photography: Nature and wildlife for beauty, pets for calm and contentment, and distortion, manipulation and artistic anomalies for spice.

Part ordinary average gal, part irreverent renegrade, my photos reflect who I am.
