Photography has been a constant companion for me, having a news editorial journalism degree & a 10 year career in weekly newspapers. Family life re-directed my goals for many years until a volcanic mid-life eruption once again put a camera in my hands. From there I discovered I am far more passionate about taking pictures than I am writing about them. For me, this passion keeps me grounded, & reminds me when I falter, it's all about the journey, not the destination.
