I think the best thing I can say about my friend Peter is that he makes me want to be a better photographer! He inspires in me the desire to continue and pursue my passion with a zest and desire and energy that he somehow projects with his words and his own photos. I only know Peter by his wonderful photographs, the recents...so macro roses and flowers are so much like jewels! Also I know him because of his generosity, he is a very happy person, and he likes that everyone should be happy..........he knows ...only after being in Flickr not for long...how to deal with contests and various pools....he likes to explain to others also about this! He is helping me too...in understanding a better way in dealing with my own photos and with photos of others too! It is almost impossible to believe how kind he is!!! And I am not refering only because he gives many invitations...to me...to many others....but about his personality....even if virtually ...it is possible to discern someone personality! Peter is a person that does love not only photography, but also is interested about whom is behind the photography......how someone felt when he or she was taking a photo! I was not a big fan of flower photographs. They seemed to me to be so easy to photography. They don't move or run away, they just sit there in the sun and wait to be photographed. You just use a flash and they turn out great. That was until I tried to photograph some flowers. They are a lot harder to image than I thought. Seeing Peter's beautiful flower images has made me just concentrate on my landscape photography. I could never hope to be in the same class as Peter. He is a flower photography master!
