WAAROM OHIO57?

Tot mijn 50ste heb ik rond getrokken met mijn kano op rivieren in Europa. De naam van mijn kano was OHIO.

Mijn geboorte datum is 1957, vandaar ohio57......

Ik ben geïnteresseerd in fotografie sinds de jaren zeventig mijn eerste camera was een Minolta SRT-101

Gestart op de leeftijd van 16jaar , Echt Serieus begonnen sinds de start van de digitale fotografie .

Een mooie prent schieten ervaar ik meestal als iets spiritueleels .

ik ben een allround fotograaf, zonder een bepaalde voorkeur.

HDR fotografie in kleur en zeker in zwart/wit vind ik geweldig.

Ik geloof echt dat er dingen zijn die niemand zou zien als ik ze niet fotografeerde.

Ik heb nooit een foto gemaakt precies zoals ik bedoeld had. Ze worden altijd beter of slechter.

Doch vind ik persoonlijk dat HDR niet te surrealistisch mag worden.

Mijn foto's zijn zeker niet de beste maar zijn genomen met de nodige pasie en nabewerkt met veel plezier.

Ik geniet van een dialoog, en het delen van informatie, als ook het leren van andere fotografen.

Ik hoop een beetje dat u dezelfde mening deeld!.

Echter, als ik nooit hoor van een contact, zal die persoon uiteindelijk verwijderd worden uit mijn lijst met contactpersonen.

Iedereen kan dure spullen kopen, maar dat geeft geen garantie voor mooie kunst.

WHY OHIO1957?

Until my 50-th birthday I have toured with my kano at the rivers of Europe.

The name of my kano was 'Ohio'.

My date of birth is 1957, that's way Ohio57

I live at the north of the provence of Antwerp, in the village Schoten in Belgium, Europe.

I've been interested in Photography since the 70's and my first camera was a Minolta SRT-101.

I started with photgraphy at the age of 16.

More intens since the start of digital photgraphy.

I usually take a picture as something spiritual experience.

I am a all round photographer, have no particular preference.

HDR photography in color and especially in black / white I love

Although it shouldn't be to surrealistic.

My photos are not the best, but taken and processed with dedication and a lot of fun.

However, if I never hear from a contact, that person will eventually be removed from my contact list.

I enjoy dialogue, sharing information and learning from other photographers and hope you do too!

Taking good pictures is an art. So is good editing. Anyone can buy expensive gear but that is not what creates the art. (quote: Amateurs talk about equipment, professionals talk about money, but photographers talk about the LIGHT).

There are always two people in every picture: the photographer and the viewer.
