Leoba, the post-doctoral research scholar in Corporate Finance lives in New York City; I had seen them all for about 30 years in Toronto and New York City. For me, photography is not a passion but leisure and shoot for fun while traveling around since I took a Kodak camera many decades back. I could find beauty everywhere and in everything. Recently, I rekindle that fun to enjoy the lighter side of life and to appreciate almost everything around. "Todo tiene belleza pero no todo el mundo lo ve."

Today, exceptionally very few shots carry lots of memory that may bring you happiness and may inspire you all the time or can be counted as priceless, unlike earlier times. Tools do not create art by itself other than using your brain. Who told you to grab all kinds of gears? For a dysfunctional brain, every crazy thing is art but not all brains are dysfunctional.

Everyone thinks his recreation is unique or of highest artistic value, who cares? A so-called pro is nothing but the one who can hide his/her mistakes and use simple tools. Anybody thinks that being in the right place at the right time, or using the highest pixels, HDR, long exposure, or any other tools that others cannot access make you a master creator? The re-creation has its limits, how great you think you are. The Creator created nature and everything including the architects who design the structures, buildings, and bridges, and the photographers just copy them. Whom do we praise other than the Almighty?

“For by Him, all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him, all things hold together.” Colossians 1:16-17 And I live in His grace. How many talents, blessings, hardships, and challenges (to make me strong and obedient) He had given me! How much should I be thankful to Him?

At least many photographers/videographers know the beauty of His creation. Enjoy the ways of coping with darkness/boredom in creativity. Many of your talents and efforts in photography take me to different places that I cannot simply access, give me so much comfort and I am herewith express my gratitude to each and every one of you.

Be happy and have lots of fun, love you all.

Yes, I blocked many obscene members; disarmed demons are everywhere, rebuke them. Some corporations are copying the photographs that I posted at flickr.com and reposting as theirs for their monetary benefits. They only credit Flickr and you will be the victim, so BEWARE people! I legally did not permit anyone to use or repost the images that I posted in Flicker.com even for fair use; violations of any such crime will be a huge liability for the abusers.

About Group Awards: You might compare your work with public opinion and improve the quality. Sometimes many precious things are lost in the wilderness without notice. However, do not waste much time since so many 'buddy-buddy' business can affect the outcome. Just study the art, focus on your work, and enjoy; everyone is good//bad in one way or other.
