The ones who come to Topolò, if they like, they can bring a reproduction of a painting that has been significant for the world’s art history to donate it to the Gallery.

The painting will be chosen according to criteria that won’t be questioned.

They will have it reproduced themselves on a paper sheet measuring max. 21 x 30 cm, with the simplest tool that will be considered suitable (a pencil, a marker, a ballpoint pen…) using the least amount of colors they consider possible.

It will be a drawing, not a painting. To the drawing they will attach the donation form filled in with the requested data (theirs and of the painting). They will take care of the framing, without exceeding 25 x 35 cm and protecting the drawing with a glass.

A digital scan / photo of the drawing will be needed for the Gallery archive.

The whole of the donated works constitutes the Gallery’s heritage. The exhibition spaces will be selected for being capable of hosting permanently all the works and will be open to the public during the period of Stazione Topolò.

These spaces will be marked by a permanent plate.

The digital archive will be run and updated by the curator.

This collection, besides being public property, also gathers data for an experiment of cultural topology that will be defined by the origin, geographical and historical, of the reproductions and the models of each single work.

Chi arriva a Topolò, e lo vuole, porta con sé la riproduzione di un quadro tra quelli che hanno fatto la storia della pittura nel mondo per donarla alla Pinacoteca.

Avrà scelto il quadro in base a un proprio criterio che non

gli verrà chiesto di definire.

Lo avrà personalmente riprodotto su un foglio di carta delle dimensioni massime di 21 x 30 cm con lo strumento più semplice che gli sarà sembrato adatto (una matita, un pennello, una penna a sfera…) usando il minor numero di colori, a suo giudizio, possibile. Si tratterà di un disegno, non di un dipinto.

Avrà provveduto a incorniciare il disegno in una cornice delle dimensioni massime di 25 x 35 cm, proteggendolo con un vetro, e a ricavarne un file digitale (una scansione o una foto del disegno in tif a 300 dpi) destinato all’archivio della Pinacoteca.

Al disegno avrà allegato il modulo di donazione compilato

e firmato ed un CD contenente il file digitale.

L’insieme delle opere donate costituisce il patrimonio della PUT.

La sede espositiva è definita dai locali che si rendono disponibili ad ospitare le opere in permanenza e ad aprirsi alle visite nel periodo di svolgimento delle edizioni della Stazione di Topolò.

Tali locali saranno segnalati da una targa permanente.

L’archivio digitale sarà conservato e aggiornato dal Curatore.

La raccolta, oltre a costruire un capitale materiale a proprietà collettiva, accumula i dati per un esperimento di topologia culturale definito dai luoghi, nello spazio geografico e nel tempo storico, da cui provengono le riproduzioni e i modelli delle singole opere.
