I think many people find it a bit strange that I take my camera with me every place I go. I do. Why? Because I have fallen deeply and profoundly in love with photography.

Elliot Erwitt said, "To me, photography is an art of observation. It's about finding something interesting in an ordinary place... I've found it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them."

And that is my belief as well.

I have only been taking photographs seriously for a small amount of time, but I have become addicted to this art form. My photography is a reflection of me and my life. I have always been one who tries to see things from a different point of view. And my photography is no exception. I do try to capture the things that one wouldn't ordinarily see. A different point of view. My point of view.

I am just setting out on this journey, but I am enjoying it immensely. Photography has helped me to stop ... and think ... and see. I see the world around me completely differently than I did when I first ventured into it. I hope I can share some of what I am beginning to see with you.
