If there is one person on flickr who takes awesomely brilliant creative pictures then it must be Priya aka purplebeats. She is a creative genius. She thus proves, photography is not about fundo cameras and geeky gadgets; but it is all about creativity and light. I really like her way of looking at things and capturing them to show that world “See, this is how I look at it”. She is a very good flickr (also off flickr) friend of me. Being new to flickr, while commenting on a fellow flickrite's photostream, I found one name in middle of few comments quite interesting - *purplebeats* - Obviously it took me to her photo stream especially this pic - www.flickr.com/ph... called "peace" I was stunned to see that creativity in this picture and added this person called purplebeats as my contact. She has come a long way in creativity and photography since then. You give her minimum possible toys or even none; and hand her a camera. She will surely create 100 different pics.. That's what I learnt from beats, that photography is not going outdoors for long drive and then shoot.. Purplebeats is so, simple yet so beautiful, very creative, single and ready to mingle ;-) [ I guess so :-) ], can lead a group without any hassles, can coordinate exceptionally well, and a very unique and creative amateur photographer! Apart from your own creativity, you have been very encouraging to me and many other friends on flickr for sure. Thanks! You have been very active and took a very good initiative of forming "Bangalore Photo Walk" group on flickr - One of the best set of people I have met so far! In the coming days along with your studies, I would suggest you buy a DSLR, and start learning technical stuffs of photography.
