Darren is a talented and thoughtful photographer. He doesn't take--or doesn't post--dozens of photos each day that are just snapshots, but rather he composes each one carefully and deliberately. He's also one of those rare people who doesn't mind constructive criticism of his shots. He actually seeks out those kinds of comments in his efforts to constantly improve. Likewise, he makes helpful comments about others' photos, and demonstrates his belief that everyone's work is worthy of both criticism and praise. When Darren leaves a comment, you know he's thought about what he said, before writing it down in his very unique style. He likes to play with words as well as his camera, and I always look forward to whatever his next posting will be. Besides all that, he's become a good friend!
