I'm just plain obsessed with adventure in any form. If it's exciting, dangerous, or just plain crazy, I'll probably do it. The majority of my time is spent trying to see as much of the world as I can before I die. I run a "wanderpunk" travel blog and community at squattheplanet.com, and I would like to have my own travel show someday.

I've spent the past 12 years of my life being a nomad. I spent the first 8 years hitchhiking and train hopping around the United States and just generally being a free spirit. I've pretty much stuck to rubber tramping (driving) since 2008. I'm in love with the traveler underground (I call it 'wanderpunk'), and I really don't know if I'll ever be able to settle down and live a "normal" life. Normal has always sounded kinda boring to me anyways :)

I'm working on becoming a better photographer, but I'm currently trying to combine my love of travel with my biggest passion, film making (youtube.com/squattheplanet). Remember the travel show thing I was talking about above?

In the past year I have driven to 40+ states, , visited insane locations like The House on the Rock, partied at DragonCon, flown an ultralight aircraft over Slab City, learned to sail a boat in Key West, finally learned to swim, and have been a consultant for movies and television shows regarding the 'wanderpunk' lifestyle I'm so fond of.

I also like to bike a lot, and I'm hoping to do some long distance bike tours in the near future.

A year from now I see myself biking across Australia.
