You say: A self confessed "happy snapper" with no technical know how but a love of capturing the world around me. Thank you for visiting, I hope you enjoy my photostream. I say: In addition to a happy snapper; you add a unique perspective to every frame posted by a personal perspective which in today's world is a rare commodity; but wait, I wouldn't stop there; I can almost feel a passion in your "happy snapper" posts because passion is even more rare commodity in today's globalized society where some folks seem to have none whatsoever! Then again, I'am talkin' about your collection where the day to day moments are captured with an eye for beauty from several angles. Your posts always make me feel happy! I have known Jackie through flickr for a number of years now and the words I write here are so very overdue. Jackie has a true photographic eye, she has a knack of seeing things that most people would walk past. I love that she always manages to find that unique point of view. The passion Jackie has for the coast is evident and it shows in her pictures and I thank her for sharing these with us. Having sat here for ten minutes, trying to find some words to sum up Jackie, I have had to give up !! It's very hard to describe somebody who is so appreciative of your own work and with whom is so forthcoming with the most lovely, kind and warmest of comments. I suppose the words, lovely, kind and warm are a great start in describing Jackie's friendly Flickr way. But then even these words don't give true justice !! Add to this a photostream that offers so much and gives much delight to the viewer, you get a very special Flickr friend and contact.... Jackie displays a real passion to the things that are close to her. Her shots of the local piers are something that Jackie feels quite strongly about. Especially the demise and damage that has been caused throughout time. The documentation of these issues are displayed perfectly in Jackie's photography. It always gives me great pleasure and excitement to see the next topic and masterpiece that leaves Jackie's camera and makes its way onto Flickr !! I'm just so pleased to have a great Flickr contact and friend in Jackie :))

I am so glad Jackie and I became contacts. I love looking at her images, because Jackie has a very good knack of just giving the subject a bit of a tilt, or slightly different angle than how I would see something, and it is always extremely interesting viewing. I have tried and tried to practice similar, but to no avail. The projects Jackie has taken on just recently, again shows her talent off in the most beautiful way, boy did I really enjoy the 30 days of Gratitude. Jackies descriptions of her work is also very interesting. I love to read what she writes. Jackie is a very loyal contact. Always gentle words, and I always look forward to seeing what comments Jackie leaves. Sometimes they give me a bit of a giggle, and sometimes I need that. Thankyou for that. On a number of occasions I have commented on Jackies work, and the next thing there is an email, thanking me. I can so hear the sincerity in her words written, I love those emails, as I love Jackies work, so I am thanking you Jackie, for showing me your part of the world in your very special way. Thankyou again for being a beautiful contact to me. May we share many many more images.
