PULSE

We are Pulse.

We are music. We are fashion. We are London. We are young.

We are a digital lifestyle magazine.

Pulse is an online magazine put together and edited by a team of four London students: Tom, Guy, Bee and Sophie. Whilst based in London, Pulse has contributors around the world who are part of cutting edge scenes wherever they dwell. Contributors to the magazine range in profession from photographers, artists and musicians to stylists, DJs, journalists and designers.

Started in August 2008, Pulse was the brainchild of Tom and Bee who had been running London’s most popular underage gigs listings website since the previous year at just 14. LDN GIGS was a website, collective of music promoters and a stage for new artists to show the world their music. During it’s year and a half in existence LDN GIGS held 7 14+ and 16+ nights and DJ’d at countless others whilst continuing to run the website. LDNGIGS.COM was closed at the end of 2008 and efforts were turned to Pulse which then spent a year being published on the website quarterly. After gaining two new editors in early 2009, the team began work on the magazine’s inception as a full-time magazine website. Soon to celebrate it’s first birthday, Pulse will re-launch in September saying goodbye to a clunky website and hello to a sleek, fresh and expanded selection of lifestyle content.
