So my rl hair is fantastic. I've had my struggles but it does what it does. When I started going through the journey of loving it for what it do, I noticed I couldn't find anything that looked like my hair online. And playing games where someone puts a big puff and calls it an afro was infuriating.

So while working and teaching myself how to model this became the thing I focused on.... I'm still working out the best way to make it look realistic v.v I wish I could explain to you the graphics card breaking, computer ending amount of coils I'd have to make to make it happen. But so far I'm happy with the results.
