Public Library Services, at the State Library of New South Wales, provides strategic leadership, information and advice on all aspects of public library provision, control and management to local authorities, public libraries, the State Library of New South Wales and other state and federal government agencies.

The images on this site are to provide ideas and inspiration for New South Wales public library staff who are planning changes to their libraries or their mobile libraries. These images will help with plans for renovations and rebuilding.

We have set up two groups to enable public libraries to share images of their libraries with us and with each other. Please add pictures of your public library to these groups. We have a third group using the hashtag #nswpubliclibraries - we will invite images to join this group when this tag is used, or you can add them yourself.
