National Public Lands Day (NPLD) is the nation's largest single-day volunteer event on public lands. The next NPLD occurs on Saturday, September 28, 2013.

The last NPLD was held on September 29, 2012. Over 175,000 people participated at over 2,200 public land sites in all 50 states, the District of Columbia and U.S. territories.
