Nina manages the Holga like anyone else does, her portraits are the best ever seen. A great source of inspiration.

What can I say, S H E I S T H E B E S T ! If it's the Holga, the Hasselblad or any other camera, Nina uses each one the way it has to be used. You inspire me with all of your shots!

The photos on Nina's photo stream are somewhere between "WOW" and "HOLY SMOKES" with a pinch of "OH DEAR, MY HEART SKIPPED A BEAT."

I first saw one of Nina's photos in the File magazine RSS feed, and later ran into her in some groups here. Not only does she take amazing photos, but she's been super nice and supportive of my work. Her Holga portraits are killer. I've never seen her in action, but she obviously has some secret way of getting people to relax, be natural, and to show momentary pieces of truth. Seeing one of her photos in my contacts, or in one of the groups we're in together, always makes me smile.

I love looking at my contacts' photos and seeing that Nina has added new photos - they're always fun and full of life, as she reveals her world in a magnetizing way.

She is so good. I imagine she smiles when she takes photos which is probably why her images look the way they do.

I obsess over my contact's photos every time I open Flickr, hoping to find that Nina has added more of her beautiful, engaging photos to le Internet for public viewing. The way she captures human beings in all their glory is refreshing. Plus, she has unleashed the film-love in my heart. Thank you.

Nina photographs some of the best portraits I've ever seen. You get to see a kind and happy world through her eyes. She always captures people at their best in every picture. They always brings a smile to my face. She's also a lomo junkie and loves lo-fi which is a plus in my eyes. I know there will always be something… Read more

Psychic Hearts Holga shots are some of the best, especially her flash which can be a tricky predicament of overexposure, but with her turns out perfect.

Nina is genuinely the sort of person that makes me want to take photos, and it's so nice to see shes commented or favourited a photo because her photos are ones you look up to yourself, so to think it works vice versa is awesome.

Nina probably has a pair of Holgas implanted into her eyes, thats the only way one could get images like she does. Keep shooting...

Nina, as the founder of the lo-fi light hunters, has not to hunt the great pictures. She just shoot them, whenever and wherever she has a camera in her hand.

December 12, 2006

I love Nina's portraits with their surrealistic touch which you'll find on most of her other pics, too. Besides her great photos she made up one of my favorite groups on flickr - the **LoFi Light Hunters**. I met wonderful folks around there - a group with spirit! Thanks!

Nina makes playing with light look effortless, a visit to her photostream will never let you down on the inspiration dept. Her images of Brooklyn represent everything that I love about NY and her portraits represent everything I adore about humanity. Never stop.
