About Me

I haven't always been into photography... My dad though--he's been into it longer than I've been around! Well, all of that time waiting for him to change lenses and settings to take 10 pictures of the same view on family vacations must've rubbed off b/c now I'm getting into it all these years later!

Right now nature photography is my focus, probably b/c that's what I grew up around. (And it's the furthest thing from my "day job" with computers... :) ) When I can't get outside, I'll play with macro shots of stuff around the house.

Even though we live in a slice of surburban yuppie hell right now, my husband and I try to escape as much as possible. A fair share of my older pics come from these trips. When we're not on the road (and I'm driving him nuts with my snapshotting), I'll play with pictures as local as in our front yard!
