I have known pstao 1 ever since jr. high and he has been on his own track since way back--very original and guided by some mysterious inner conflict or dream. his artwork is subtle yet subterranean and logical. there is a mathematical side to these photographic haikus but also a deep sense of sadness and empathy. I consider him to be something of a philosopher or a spiritualist working through the language of photography.
