Hi and thank you for visiting...

I'm sorry that I haven't been online much since 2011 it has been a very emotional time for me. Some of you may have noticed that my name has changed, well to cut a long story short I am transsexual I changed my name to Paula as a part of the transition for me to become female. When my life settles down I'll be able to take some photos again.

I am what you call a trans-tographer (transsexual photographer).

Unfortunately on the 22nd June, 2013 due to financial constraints my pro account will lapse.

I do take a lot of wildlife photographs from our garden which I submit to the following flickr groups: BBC Springwatch (March to June), BBC Nature UK Summerwatch (June to August), BBC Autumnwatch (September to November) and BBC Winterwatch (December to February).

Please Note: I am not employed by the BBC, I just enjoy taking a lot of wildlife photographs (I was asked to put this disclaimer on here by the BBC in 2010).

We have lived at our current address over 40 years and got in to Digital Photography in 2005 (previously we were using 35mm film). The first digital camera we got was a Canon PowerShot S2 IS which has served us well and is still being used today. More recently we have bought a Canon PowerShot SX10 IS and the difference between the two cameras is amazing with up to 80 x zoom on the SX10.

Our motto is: If it moves we shoot it, if it doesn't move we shoot it anyway...

I have found you can never take enough photos and Digital Cameras have made Photography so much easier.

All the photos we submit are taken from our house or garden.
