I like to take shots of natural phenomena that are beautiful, unusual, and sometimes both. Some photos here are one-of-a-kind, found nowhere else on Flickr or on the internet. A lot of exploration and pre-planning went into many of these. Others were serendipitous discoveries. Photos of historical interest are included. This is also a place to find unique or rare photos of numerous remote sites on the Paria Plateau in Arizona (Vermilion Cliffs National Monument) only reachable on foot or with 4-wheel drive.
