10-27-24 Update: Purchased a Nikon Z6ii mirrorless camera and a Nikkor S240120mm f/4 lens to go with it. Personal challenges prevented me from using it much until recently, but i'm tring to get out more and capture two of my favorite subjects: fall colors and waterfalls. I will start posting more captures of these images starting today.

 

06-15-21 Update: While I do still post here on occasion and have been honored to make "Explore" several times, I post much more frequently on Facebook. I do upload at screen quality rather than high resolution for large prints. That being said, please use and enjoy my images with courtesy. 08-08-14 Update: I have noticed that many of my Flickr friends have gravitated to Facebook, as have I. Other contacts or friends have reduced or ended their activity here for other reasons, I presume. ON FB, I am able to share my images with more friends and interest groups, and get more feedback and interaction. In addition, Flickr has recently made changes that make it impossible to upload directly from Adobe Bridge. This was a feature which I found very convenient, and I have no idea whether or not Adobe has any interest in solving the problem. Therefore, I anm going to halt my posting images here; I will keep my photostream for the time being, and will check back on occasion. 12/06/10 update: Now retired after 22 years from former job; too young to be permanently retired; but taking the opportunity to improve my photographic skills through courses at Bucks County Community College. Have posted some of that work here. My goal, if you want to call it that, is to be able to use my love for photography to bring in some income, rather than go back to the 9 - 5 grind.

  

Working in the environmental protection field; enjoy US History, particularly Civil War; shooting with the Olympus E-520 with an E-300 as spare, like to shoot a variety - landscapes, flower closeups, some architectural; belong to a photography group at church and shoot a lot of church events as my ministry to God and the church; also enjoy gardening.
