I've always loved photography, I think I got that passion from my father. I can remember working with him in his makeshift dark room (our laundry room with a red light bulb and a sheet over the doorway). He would let me pour his processing chemicals and help him dip the negatives. In high school, I took photography and learned a lot about manual shooting and black and white work.
I have to say, I'm not always the one behind the camera, quite often it is also my husband who likewise had a photographer for a father to instill that passion in him. The difference between he and I is that he is patient. He also sees the big picture better than I do, I focus on the unnoticed details. Plus his camera is much more expensive than mine - his tripod is worth more than my camera.
My goal here is to geotag pictures from our trips and to learn from other photographers. The one thing I would like to learn more about is photo editing. I see some of the processing and I wish I could imitate it.
