I inherited my love of photography from my father, we would often convert the family bathroom into a dark room (This was never popular with anyone else in the house.)

With the exception of one or two hundred prints, some test prints and a handful of negatives, most of my course & early work was destroyed in a flood.

It has become a personal crusade to get back into what was a 'serious' hobby some 10+ years ago before work and family commitments effectively took me away from everything other than birthdays & holidays etc. I even sold all my SLR kit in favour of a PAS digital compact camera. Doh!

Now back to the SLR, I am using the Canon 350D and more recently 40D.

The last 12 months have been a real journey of discovery. I have made many new contacts around the globe, seen more of my local area, as I endeavour to offer different images on a daily basis. Some days I end up with composition rather than content.

Muse (Vikki) really helped set the ball rolling in terms of my recent work, for that I am eternally greatful and hope to have something of a reunion shoot in 2008.

Lot's more ground to cover and some more goals to achieve.
