I have been a Flickr member since 2006, but really got into posting in January of 2007. I must say that I am addicted to Flickr now. There are so many inspirational people this site and so many things that I can learn, and hope to learn. I know that I am still very much an amateur when it comes to photography, but have also seen a big improvement in my work since I first started with film and since I got my first DSLR [A Nikon D50] in mid 2006. I just recently, in August 08, got a Canon 40D. I didn’t want to switch over to Canon, because I am quite in love with Nikon, but since the school I will be attending has nothing but Canon equipment, it seemed only natural that I would switch. So now I am a Canon/Nikon shooter.

I now attend an art school in San Francisco, where I hope to learn a lot and hopefully take up a line of work in photography. I really enjoying photographing people but lately I have been into shooting other things as well. As a challenge to myself I started the 365 project sometime in March and I am proud to say that I haven’t quit. I think it is fun to have to take pictures everyday, even if the picture isn’t spectacular.

I really enjoying watching people’s work here on Flickr and hope that some day I will be able to participate in a Flickr Mixr and meet other people who are really into photography. I think it would be a wonderful experience. Also, since I am still an amateur, any constructive criticism and comments are welcome.
