Project Hope is a volunteer-driven non-profit organization that provides Palestinian children and youth with educational and recreational activities that are both life-sustaining and life-enabling. Activities include English and French classes, social justice Discussion Groups, and creative activities in Art, Drama, Photography and Music. Benefits from these activities include:

◊ Skills Development - instructors impart new skills such as English and French

◊ Mental Health - strengthening a child’s resilience and positive outlook, providing them with extra confidence to take control of their own lives

◊ Dialog - creating lasting bonds between Palestinians and foreigners who meet either online or in-person as individuals trying to make a difference at the grassroots level

Project Hope was founded in early 2003 in the West Bank city of Nablus in order to make the lives of disadvantaged Palestinian children better. Its programs are run by a Palestinian staff supported by Palestinian and International volunteers. It is also registered in Canada, France and the

United Kingdom, and has an active American membership.

Concerned individuals are encouraged to contact us about becoming involved either as volunteers or advocates. Proposals for joint projects are welcome, while we actively ask for donations throughout the year from individuals, businesses and foundations to support our ongoing work.
