I'm a 20-something. I love baking. Love shopping for anything in the home or kitchen. I can't resist a trip to Wiliams-Sonoma, Sur La Table or my local kitchen specialty shops. I don't go a week or two without buying Wilton or any other cake decorating products. I love special occasions and love to celebrate life. I'm obsessed with cupcakes and baking. I have two blogs, Project Domestication--a blog dedicated to my journey of baking and other domestic skills and hobbies. Then there is Utah Loves Cupcakes -- a blog that is dedicated to the cupcake experience and the Utah cupcake scene.
I love cooking and using high-quality ingredients. I don't mind spending an arm and a leg on a special ingredient if it means I'll learn something new and be able to enjoy a special meal with those I love.
I love to travel. I do it often, yet not often enough. Favorite trips include a luxury Tahitian Cruise that only had 300 people on it, a road trip to Mount Rushmore and endless visits to Disneyland to eat a churro during the firework celebrations.
My life at home and at work is completely surrounded by food. My day job is in in public relations and marketing communications for a local food products company. I am known to sneak into the test kitchen and try whatever our corporate chef is mixing up and pick at his brain for tips.
