I’m here to gain insight, inspiration and whatever useful photographic knowledge someone may offer to learn and implement in my workflow along with great photogenic places to explore.

Feel free to leave comments out of appreciation with no expectations of the same. I’m here as a means of articulacy; I find no interest in attaining 15 minutes of fame through “Explore” or any other counter intuitive means, nor am I concerned in racking-up views and comments but (text) comments now and then are very much appreciated. Please do not add any ridiculous flashy graphics, or group invites with graphics to my stream. If you automate your method of commenting then perhaps you shouldn’t be commenting at all; it serves absolutely no purpose.

I've always had an interest in photography since I was 9 years old working in my Dad's photo lab. The last ~8 years I've experimented unsuccessfully but never pursued it up until recently where I've seem to have caught the photog bug.

This came about after studying amazing shots & prints from fellow Northwest photographers who have the same common landscape interests. Composition is a tough skill to master but thanks to many of these fine photographers who share their work I'm slowly getting better; I think.

Several inspirational and very knowledgable (Gary Randall, Greg Pepion, Greg Lief, Cliff Zener, Andrew Kumler, Aaron Reed, Joshua Bury, David Richter, Darrell Wyatt, Dan Sherman, Skyler Hughes, Stephen Oachs, Darren White) photographer’s really opened my eyes to the photogenic beauty of Oregon & Washington that I never knew existed. This is when things started clicking, my passion grew and that’s when I think I caught the photography bug. Photography is my new hobby and my preference is landscape photography only consisting of mountains, rivers, creeks, lakes, waterfalls, canyons and the desert.
