I am Professor of Physical Geography and Honorary Professor at Swansea University. Former Pro Vice-Chancellor at the University of Wales (2015-20) and Short-Term Visiting Fellow with Jesus College, University of Oxford (2020-21). I am author of Coastal Systems (2016, University of Wales Press), regularly appear on television and radio, and deliver public lectures.
