I've loved nature since I was young. I started becoming interested in photography about 10 years ago. I decided to combine the two things I enjoy most. I hope that it makes people as interested in nature as I am, and I hope that it makes them think more about protecting that environment.

My first camera was a Nikon Coolpix L22 that I used quite frequently. I was later given a Canon Powershot Pro1 which had a better zoom but awful macro and similar quality. My current camera is a Canon Powershot SX160 IS, which I would highly recommend to anyone. It's not an expensive camera (under $200), but does what I need it to. Many are surprised that my photos come from a point & shoot camera.
