I am a graduate from Appalachian State University. I have a BS in Criminal Justice. I have been into photography since I was a senior in high school but had a camera placed in my hands at age 7 (my dad started me out early :) ). I took 1 year of black and white photography and learned how to use an SLR and develop my own film and print my own pictures. Then at Appalachian, to sharpen my skills, I took another black and white photography class. My camera collection is growing. For Graduation I received a Nikon D-90. I also have a Nikon Coolpix. My newest addition to my collection is a Nikon D7000.

Photography is my passion. I love capturing beautiful photos. Photos that tell a story, photos that down the road give wonderful memories, photos that show a thrilling ride such as planes flying in close formation. I love the many facets of photography.
