I'm a programmer by trade who has gradually developed an interest in photography over the last 10+ years. I wasn't fortunate enough to develop pictures myself, though I did use a film camera for a short time before switching to digital.

My wife and I (and now son!) primarily shoot with a Nikon D50, shooting for both photojournalistic merit as well as artistic reasons. We also have a Sony DSCHX9V/B that we have been using more lately.
