I have enjoyed baking cakes and the like since my mother taught me as a little girl. My mum is a very artistic lady and I think that has passed down to me in some way.

I have never had any training in the art of cake creativity but a lovely lady named Lilian whom I would consider a friend and cake mentor inspired me with her beautiful work. I learnt various techniques by borrowing books from the local library and experimenting on willing friends and family members.
