I'm a Registered Nurse that has chosen early retirement (worked for 20 years) to stay at home and care for my family in a more hands on way. We are a foster/ adoptive family for medically fragile children and have cared for many children over the last 11 years. You will see glimpses of them throughout my photostream. Their heroism inspires me in ways I cannot put into words, but try to capture in photos.
I would like to improve my amateurish skills to be able to document the challenges, stuggles, and accomplishments of the children we love in a more profound way. I welcome any comments, suggestions, critiques, etc... (as long as it is in a positive light toward my children).
