I am a professional photographer with a love of many different genres of photography from studio to hide.

I began my journey in the 80s shooting motorsport events in B&W, processing the films and printing my favourites in the loft at home. After a longer than wanted break from photography I returned to my hobby firstly shooting film then digital.

I ventured into Digital imaging early on, building on my Nikon kit and haven’t looked back since. Currently I enjoy studio work when I can and being in the outdoors, staking out the wildlife of the UK and capturing it in its true environment.

As an amateur astronomer I have progressed from visual observing of the night sky to photographing it. I especially enjoy trying to image the distant galaxies, star clusters and Nebulas. This takes a special kind of photography, where you build up composites of many single images to further highlight the structures and colours.
