Carpentry Lecturer at the Otago Polytechnic in New Zealand.

Every year we build a house as part of our carpentry course and sell it at the end. These are pictures of our house at different stages through the construction process.

This year we are selling the house and donating the money to a local charity. Parts of the house are being donated by local businesses and labour too.

The carpentry department uses the experience to imitate a building site for the benifet of the students.The students are assesed on their work during the construction process and are encouraged by real goals rather than make beleive ones.

This house will be auctioned in November 2008
