About myself

"Oh sod it! Where is my bl**dy camera!"

I'm from the UK, about to finish University and looking to get into work as an IT or Network Admin. I like Rugby, Cricket, travelling, the countryside and especially photography.

I took up photography initially as I felt it was a way of expressing myself without having to put too much effort into it (I am awful at painting, drawing, etc) but soon it turned into a whole way of providing stress relief. Going out and taking photos for a day calms me down somewhat, it takes my mind off of things and lets me relax. It may seem like a very solitary thing, wandering around on your own and taking photographs, but it can be put you at peace with the world in a way nothing else can.

My Camera

My camera is now a Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT. I got it recently and took it for a spin and I was very impressed.

My previous cameras have been an Olympus C-760 (ol' faithful), a Canon Powershot A70 (I think) and an old Trust 4mp manual focus (two settings, in and out of focus).
