Hobbyist nightscape photographer, based in Los Angeles, and yearning for darker skies. I enjoy making images to marvel at and having adventures doing it.

Weekdays I work in public engagement at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, where I help tell the story of space exploration, and help scientists and engineers to tell more impactful stories about their work. Some of my astrophotos are taken in support of NASA's What's Up skywatching video series (youtube.com/playlist?list=PLTiv_XWHnOZrT_ppDGiT__fI3yjD4t7dI), which it's my privilege to produce each month.

I took up night sky photography in 2020, during the pandemic, as a way to get out and do something new. Since then it's turned into a true pastime, giving me endless things to try, and places to visit. I usually camp in my rooftop tent when I'm out capturing views of the night sky.
