THAT WILL GET YOU TO THE MEAT OF THE MATTER.I am a retired emergency room physician with an unusual academic background. I have advanced degees in agriculture (BS and MS in animal husbandry), studied for a PhD in medical physiology, am a board certified internist and practiced emergency room medicine for 20 years. I began working in a darkroom at age 13 and with my brother and a friend scripted and filmed a 16mm motion picture skit comedy at age 14 and a stop action special effects film at age 15. In high school I worked with 35mm SLR and rangefinder cameras, a 4x5 Calumet view camera as well as the classic photojournalists workhorse the Crown Graphic. As you see in my stream I have emphasized nature, travel, candid street photography, photomicroscopy and some images of a photojournalistic nature. All of my underwater images are color transparencies which I scanned in the late 1990's. I have photographed in over 30 different countries, many of them are 3rd world countries and developing nations.
