Volker's concert photography is the best I have ever seen on Flickr. His use of natural lighting, focus, and positioning in his photographs is thought provoking and inspires emotion. I wrote to him off-list to ask for advice about shooting better concert photographs and he took the time during his vacation to help me research new equipment that I was looking into buying. Luckily he is local to my area and I look forward to meeting him at a Flickr-Meetup soon.
