I’m Phil, an amateur photographer. After a career in engineering, at sea and in the local dockyard, I’m now retired.

Getting a Kodak Instamatic camera for Christmas as a child got me into photography; that was about 50 years and 10 cameras ago. I like exploring most photographic genres and have a fairly eclectic image collection, favourites being travel, landscape and architecture. Usually I like wide-angle lenses, a large depth-of-field and plenty of perspective.

I’m currently using Photoshop/Lightroom and a scanner, to scan, catalogue and develop a life time of images.

Photographs are our art, our memories, and our legacy. I dedicate these to the lovely lady who shared them with me for the last 40 years.
