I'm a hobby photographer who loves taking pictures of native flowers, wildflowers and other foliage and wildlife I discover along the way. I feel that photography helps me to appreciate where I live so much more because I pay attention to the things I may have walked by without noticing. I love trying new things with my photos and getting swept up in the moment.

I am also in my 2nd year of horticulture and spend the rest of my time with my hubby, my cats, dogs, two dwarf puffer fish and my snail named Garyanne (we thought it was a boy until it laid eggs), writing, creating things and trying to do the best I can with my Type 1 diabetes.
