Michael doesn't know this, but he's secretly an inspiration to me on so many levels. I've never met him but his personality shines through his work, his words and his art. His artistic gift hits me straight in my chest, and I mean that in only the most loving way. His sense of scale, line and movement makes my mouth water. His photography manages to capture the essence and warmth of people (I could look at pictures of his family non-stop!) and it always goes beyond a simple snapshot. Always.
