I live in Fargo, North Dakota, so you'll see photos from there, but I grew up in Michigan, and so you'll also see images from points in between Michigan and North Dakota (including the Netherlands and Chile!).

I love to record what I see around me, especially with light and pattern. I like photography because it records things that we can often miss. It just takes seeing to realize and appreciate the beauty and moods and scenes around us, and taking photos helps me do that -- it's a kind of mindfulness, I think.
