Pattye Anderson is a family nurse practitioner currently practicing outpatient obstetrics, pediatrics and general medicine with Valley Presbyterian. In addition to primary care practice, Nurse Pattye is the Director of Care Positive, LLC in Los Angeles and an activist with Integrative Clinics International (ICI). She received her Bachelor of Science from University of Southern California before attending UCLA School of Nurse where she received her Master Degree and Family Nurse Practitioner training. Currently a scholar of Public Health Epidemiology studies, Nurse Pattye will complete the dissertation process by 2018……

 

Pattye (also known as Head Nurse Pattye) maintains ties with USC and UCLA, where she donates time and money when possible, mentors students and participates in the yearly Falmouth Medical Clinic Mission Group in Jamaica for the medical school at UCLA. She authored her first book, Creating and Maintaining Your Own Locked Hair and she fluently speaks Spanish. She is excited to collaborate on books and programs with like-minded individuals.

 

She is currently writing her second book and recently earned a 1st Dan Tae Kwon Do Black Belt. Keeping the whole body fit is important and she is planning to expand her knowledge of mind and body holistic healthcare. Additionally, she seeks symposiums where she can lecture on medical mission planning, natural hair, and living when losing a child to cancer. She is interested in working with medical providers from other fields to expand her service to clinics both in the US and in Jamaica where she started worldwide volunteering efforts.
