My career as a knitwear and crochet designer began about 12 years ago. After teaching myself to knit and crochet, I found that there were not many patterns available on the market that appealed to me. I almost immediately began designing my own things, and it has gradually snowballed into my business that I have now. I spend a great deal of time and effort into the technical writing of my patterns and designs, and have always been told that they are written in a way that are very clear and easy to follow. The written directions to make all of them items pictured on my Flickr page are available on my website, www.poshpatterns.com.
I also owned a bricks and mortar yarn shop for a few years, which I loved! Being around people so much, and teaching knitting and crochet skills were extremely fulfilling. During the time that I had that shop, my designing ambitions really began to take shape and I decided to focus full time on that aspect of my career.
I absolutely love what I do, and I continue to expand my designs in regards to style and trends. When I design an item, I always take the time to includes the full range of sizes (from newborn to adult) when it is appropriate. As I branch out into other garment styles, I will continue to do that. Take a look at my website to see all of my patterns, and feel free to contact me anytime with questions or inquiries.
Thank you for looking at my images!!
