This is what Pop Prolific is all about. I’ll try to simplify (I tend to be wordy). We are NOT trying to jump on the bandwagon of Pop Art toys (I.E. Andy Warhol products from Japan or miscellaneous graphitti-art based Urban Vinyl Toys). Though we do love some of them we are NOT trying to be them. Instead, we are trying to add to the greater good, the larger grander world of toys. In expressing our artistic interest through action figures, we plan to hand make limited editions of characters we’ve always wanted to see as toys or characters that we feel weren’t made right to begin with. We want to strengthen the backbone of the toy world, by showing how artistic toys can really be.
As our name suggest, we want to create properties influenced by people and events that effect popular culture. Past, Present, Future, all of it.
I love toys.
As an artistic medium, in which one can express themself through sculptural forms.
As a platform, to view people and events from the past.
As a prism, through which we can speculate on matters of the future.
Essentially, as a lifestyle.
As such, our goal as a company is to produce iconic pieces of art that can be played with. Interactive Iconic Art if you will.
