My name was Marc A. Coderre but I changed it to Pop Icon. That's just one of the many things I have done that is crazy. I tried most of my life to fit in or to be normal. I'm not normal. I don't fit in. I'm fine with that now. Life is more fun when you dance to the beat of your own drum. Though truth be told my drummer is kind of deaf and his drum machine is broken. I'm pop art like the Zapruder film or Jon Bennet Ramsey autopsy photos. I want to start a new Jonestown and celebrate it with a toast of Kool-Aid! I am often misunderstood. Especially if I use my own words. I’m happily married and in a monogamous relationship. I am just online looking for cool people, or people to do things with from time to time. I am really not into any scene but my own. My scene is a bit punk, a bit skinhead, and a lot like Andy Warhol’s factory back in the 60's. I am fascinating to watch, to listen to, and to taste. I know how to make you laugh. I know how to make you run in fear. I spend most of my time making music, fisting, painting, bare backing, sculpting, pod casting or making movies. Yeah I'm one of those artsy types.

My name is Pop Icon and I have the best friends/peers a Pop Icon can have…I love my life most of the time and mostly would not change anything about it. I do not regret easily, I do not forgive easily if ever, I like people until they shit on me; I hate fake people who are nice to your face and stab you in the back. I do not enjoy the “I’m a friend or lover for now till something bigger/better or till they forget about you when you are out of the picture or ear shot.” I hate people who take advantage of me.
